Hey y’all! Have been on a bit of a hiatus from blogging due to work commitments BUT, if you’ve been following me on Twitter then you’ll know I’ve been raving about SXSW 2011 for the past week or two (lol). I ran into this video on YouTube, it’s a film trailer/bumper for a movie called “Mario” – it’s about everyone’s favourite Koopa-stomping plumber and his bid to save his girlfriend Peach. I’m clearly partial to it because of the portrait’s subject – but even more so because of the life, energy and epicness captured. He writes, of the portrait, Probably the most famous singer who ever lived. Bob Marley is known for his easygoing attitude and amazing musical ability. Marley preached love, peace, and the Rastafarian way. Without Marley’s influence an entire genre of music would never have gained the mass love that it now has.
