LOL, thanks to fyrfli for sharing this video with me today! Granted, I was still quite young (I shan’t say!) in 1984 but still…Fyr raised a good point today – we used to have some really great commercials on TV! What the hell happened?!

I’m back kids! After an extended hiatus to handle some business, I’ve returned to my blog. Yesterday, I was watching E! (don’t judge me!) and saw a segment promoting this documentary Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. Now, I’m a fan of healthy/clean eating (although I do enjoy the not-so-clean things *the shame!*) and found the trailer for Joe Cross’ film captivating. Rather than tell you what it’s all about, watch the clip and check out his site here. It was while on his site last night that I came across Reboot Your Life.

I didn’t realise the colour of my skin until I had to fill out an application form for some exam (may have been SATs) when I was in High School. It was at this very same time that I discovered I went to a school that only ‘takes White and Brown people’.

I have a confession to make…I tend to be cliquish. It’s not intentional but I like the comfort and familiarity of people I know and love. However, I am a social creature and I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. This amongst many other reasons is why the @JamaicaPegasus Tweetup matters.
