Like any female – I take precautions on-line and in the real world to be safe. We all know the tips: lock your doors, turn on lights, walk in a group, be careful at night and in crowds, but why don’t these tips ever include using technology to keep us safe? Or even using technology to think ahead for a moment where you might be incapacitated?

I love my iPhone dearly. I love being able to Skype from anywhere. I love the video calling, i love the games, i love the Remember the Milk App, i love the Evernote app, i love Google Goggles; fact is i could go on and on. The iPhone’s awesomeness surely makes up for its shortcomings. 1 of those shortcomings being the device’s Keyboard. I absolutely hate it ( But anyway).
For the past few months, social networking giant Facebook has been engaged in a series of controversial disputes with their users (and others!) regarding their questionable privacy policies. Normally, when creating your Facebook profile, you’re prompted for loads of information about yourself – including your phone number and email address. I guess that’s okay, except for when application developers can access that information!
